I’ve been storing my files in two entirely separate locations for 10 YEARS.
For ten years, I’ve been swearing I saved a thing… only to find it much later, after mentally backflipping into the other file system.
Both locations made total sense in my head.
Both were structured almost identically.
Each held half my output.
A decade-long self-own.
This is about intent vs. execution.
I didn’t have a great filing system when I started out, I don’t think most of us do.
But wow. Go check in on your baby self and what the hell they thought they were doing.
Maybe it’s time for a re-org?
At the very least, it’ll remind you how far you’ve come.
I’m willing to bet you’ve done more than you remember.
Give grown up you and baby you a break if you’re feeling down.
You’ve accomplished more than you realize.
Anyway… new portfolio’s up. Blah blah blah.
