Not letting being let go define my worth.
Was I underutilized? Absolutely.
Was it just me? Not even close.
Watching that much talent slip through corporate fingers—
someone else should’ve been cut for the negligence,
not the 120 of us creatives they failed to comprehend how to use to our potential.
But here’s what I’m already seeing:
New production houses,
Emerging agencies,
and New storytellers taking the reins—
turning what felt like loss into pure momentum.
Fly free, little birds.
As Liz Ernest told me in our first meeting:
“Maybe they sent us back into the wild… because we’re wild.”
