I see themes on LinkedIn...

Especially from those who post regularly.

If you've kept up on my posts here, you know that I try to keep things real so I’m not wasting your time.
So I’m not gonna write about how to spot if a post was written by AI.
Because honestly, who cares?

AI is a huge source of anxiety. It’s new. It’s unpredictable.
But I’m willing to bet most of you aren’t thinking about it in your day-to-day.
Once the dust settle (if it ever will), it'll be a wrinkle in our workflows.
Like anything new, it’s fertile ground for “industry experts” to start planting flags.

But what’s actually useful for people scrolling the feed?
Hot takes on em-dashes?
Resume tips from people who haven’t had to find work in this market?

One of the problems with AI posts - or saturation marketing in general - is that it often feels… automated.
Not human.

I don’t know that anything I post will get you a job.
But maybe it reminds you that you’re not alone.
That you’re still in the mix.
That the mess of this moment is collective.

No “10 ways to spice up your cover letter.”
Just trying to thaw you back fro the scroll.

We all have our own struggles.
But some part of this? We’re doing it as a group.

As always, I’d ask you to seek out community.
Find other people who do what you do, whether that’s writing copy or building model trains.
We’re in this together.

Outside traditional work schedules, I’ve had a real bitch of a time figuring out how much is enough.
